Luxurious Urban Retreat In The Heart Of Melbourne

Would not recommend to stay here at all! Positive: Convenient location. Negative: The word “luxurious” could not be more misplaced in advertising this apartment. It is only very basically furnished - two beds, but no bedside tables, or bedside table lamps. An island bench for eating in the kitchen, but only two chairs, for a 2 bedroom apartment, one of which was broken. Only one key and one access card for the building, very inconvenient. The material of the bed frames as well as the sofa are very unhygienic for a place that’s regularly rented out - some kind of velour, very hard to clean, and just a gross feel. There are TV brackets/ loose cables/ holes in and on the walls, giving the rooms a look of “unfinished”, and making it feel not cozy at all. The entire time we stayed, there was a lingering smell in the apartment of possibly sewerage? It was disgusting! The kettle was broken, and out of the three pots, two weren’t suitable for induction (and it was an induction stove). We messaged about this and got offered to be dropped off a new kettle and pots the next day at 2pm. We declined as we didn’t want to be at our accommodation in the middle of the day. Plus, those things should be checked between all stays. Most of the cutlery was also broken. I understand the convenient location of the accommodation, but that’s also the only thing in its favour. It was not a nice place to stay, not usable in many ways, and when we tried to file a complaint afterwards, the owner replied that the apartment was “completely fine” and asked us to provide proof. I think the photos as well as our experience should be proof enough to anybody.

Perfect for a no frills weekend stay in the heart of the CBD Positive: Perfect location right in the heart of Melbourne CBD a 5 minute walk from Southern Cross station. Apartment was clean, perfect spot for a no frills stay over the weekend if you don't plan on cooking or hanging around in the apartment. Shower had excellent water pressure and provided Wifi was fast and reliable :) Negative: Apartment and building reeked of cabbage? lift was incredibly slow. Lighting in the apartment was horrible no natural sunlight, no bedside lamps or lamps in general. Only one bar stool as the other was broken in the bedroom cupboard. Apartment was cold even in late December - no spare blankets or linen provided. Bathroom constantly wet as no exhaust fans or ?broken. Host was not proactive in providing key information and it took multiple back and forth messages to gain key access information from the lock box down the street - only one key card/key for a two bedroom apartment. I personally wouldn't call this a "luxurious" apartment.

Positive: Perfect location, clean, comfortable beds 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms perfect for our 3 night stay Negative: Getting keys was confusing. 2 different sets of instructions (I believe the process changed on the day we arrived) Kettle was broken, saucepans weren't suitable for induction stove - therefore it was difficult to heat water. The contact person promised to replace - but it didn't happen. There were 3 in the group and only one key and security card. Bedside tables and lamps would be useful

Paid good money for a sub standard room would not recommend Sorry just being honest Positive: Location Negative: Hello,Firstly Kettle didn’t work spoke to host and said he would deliver one didn’t happen,Spent over a $100 on Coffees for 4days.Had issues with Stove finally got stove working so Wife could make children food as one of our foster children has a eating disorder and then these only 2 knives and forks for 4 people and broken forks still in draw then not enough plates and bowls 🤷‍♂️Then bedtime and the weather is a little fresh and no extra blankets so turn heater on blows dust out filter obviously not been cleaned for a very long time.Toilet seat broken and stool broken and generally the place didn’t seem to be clean.To top it off at the end of the stay went to take key and fod back which we had to go around the corner to a Chinese Cafe and they weren’t open till 10:30 and we had a flight to catch so we go back to apartment building and security would not take key and fod so I paid a person $10 if he would go back to apartment room drop off keys and fod use there fod to come back down and finally leave ,children panicking and stress finally Uber to Airport and just made our flight home.Highlight of stay was Markets Sea Aquarium Museum and Artvo was amazing
