Luxurious Urban Retreat In The Heart Of Melbourne

Loved the apartment and the location and we would stay again. Very spacious, comfortable and clean. Positive: Location was great. Loved the 2 bathrooms. Very comfortable apartment with plenty of room. Very close to trains and trams.

Our stay was perfect, the host was very helpful & patient with all my phone calls etc Positive: The location was perfect for us as one of us has MS, so we didn't have far to walk from Southern Cross Station or to Marvell Stadium. Lots of eateries nearby as well. Negative: I wasn't keen on the lock box to retrieve keys. I also think the card for swiping in the building & lift should be attached to the keys, it was too easy to leave behind as it blended with the interior of the box.

Positive: Contact was good by message. Close proximity to Southern Cross station so good links to airport. Layout of apartment nice, decent shower and decent bed once I put all the slats back in that hold the mattress. Negative: It was a bit tired, needs a bit of TLC. A few loose wires, cleaners appear to just do the bare minimum and the cutlery draw holds half a dinner knife, 1 and a half forks and 7 spoons... I think the owner needs to speak to whoever cleans the apartment and get things sorted. The biggest issue however is the horrendous smell in the communal areas (like a mix of rotting rubbish and bad drains).. this hits you like a punch in the face as you exit the lift on the fourth floor and does seep into the apartment. The owner definitely needs to speak to the buildings owners about this.. I've stayed in worse but when the apartment is described as luxurious I definitely expected better. I don't like giving bad reviews and tried to find the positives but the lack of care and the smell means that I cannot.

Positive: Great location Super Quiet Good gym facilities Shower very powerful Great value for money Sourthern cross and Coles only 1 block away Negative: The apartment is quite dark and there appears to be a bit of a smell in the building but wouldnt stop that from staying again

Great spot for a Melbourne city stay Positive: The location as perfect for a few days visiting the city. Close to the train station, walking distance to all the city, surrounded by great cafes and restaurants. It was good value for money for a two bed two bath apartment. The kitchen was well stocked and it was useful to have the Laundry facilities. Communication with the host was fast and efficient. Self Check in process was well explained and easy to follow. We would stay again when next in the city. Negative: I agree with other reviews that bedside tables in both bedrooms should be a must. With only one small window in the living area it is a little on the dark side.
